What we’re doing

During the summer season, too often salad gets forgotten or wasted, with the burgers and other finger foods taking centre stage. To help keep us munching on veg and to reduce our food waste over the summer, we're turning the spotlight onto salads and getting creative in the kitchen. We bring you the #SaladSticks campaign!

Salad sticks are quick to prepare, convenient to eat, fun, accessible and affordable, appealing to adults and children alike.

How you can get involved

We have created a collection of #SaladSticks and are asking our network of supporters to develop their own ‘My Favourite Salad Stick’ and share their creations via their social channels. Dressings and dips to accompany the #SaladSticks are also most welcome. Over the next four weeks, we'll be sharing them on social media and have uploaded them to our Pinterest ‘Salad Bar’ board. The best ones will be included within an eBook that will be available to download from our website and also win some Veg Power goodies (our fabulous new mugs and notebooks are up for grabs!)

To enter, please share your creations on social and remember to use our hashtag #SaladSticks and include the name of your creation, the list of ingredients (anything goes in addition to the salad of course) and any instructions to help prepare the stick, dressing or dip

We look forward to your entries and enjoy all that salad!
