Leafy Greens

Leafy greens are deep in flavour, easy to grow (a perfect garden or windowsill challenge for the kids) and perfect in stir-fries, stews or casseroles. They don't need much prep (see individual types for how to prep different ones), often cook very quickly, and are an easy last-minute addition to add 1 of your 5-a-day to a one-pot dinner by adding a bag of shredded leafy greens or a few blocks of frozen!
