Try a Traybake and #LoveYourLeftovers

With many of us still working some of the time from home we wanted to encourage you to try out a traybake for your evening meal and by doubling up on the veg you’ll end up with enough for lunch the next day #LoveYourLeftovers. Saving time in the kitchen while keeping your veg intake up. Double win! While traybakes are a convenient way to cook a variety of different foods, as always, we’re particularly interested in seasonal UK veg including onions, root veg, butternut squash and sweet potato.

We created a handy resource that will guide you through building the perfect traybake and learning to #LoveYourLeftovers – make sure you download your copy:

Lots of influencers got in on the fun with social posts, videos and recipes:

Our traybake campaign is part of our ongoing #SeasonalVeg campaign – which reached over 23million in 2021! Our survey with You Gov showed that 65% of people would like to know more about seasonality, yet very few do. We see seasonality as the best way to navigate the huge interest in climate change, healthier diets and better support for our communities towards the very best food choice – actual vegetables. Find out more here and browse #SeasonalVeg feeds on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
