Helen White is a Special Advisor on Household Food Waste for WRAP. She works with food retailers, manufacturers and brands on engaging with citizens to reduce food waste and is WRAP’s spokesperson on household food-waste-related matters. With expertise in strategic planning, she has played a key role in defining WRAP’s new approach to citizen food waste prevention and the re-development of Love Food Hate Waste.

She is the Deputy Chief Executive and Communications Manager for the Association for Nutrition, which is the independent regulator for nutritionists recognised by the NHS, Public Health England, Wales and Scotland, plus many employers.

Michael Barker is a horticultural journalist with more than 15 years of experience covering the fruit, vegetable and flower sectors. He was editor of leading industry publication Fresh Produce Journal from 2010-2019 and is a former fresh foods editor at The Grocer and news editor at Grower magazine. He currently writes for a range of food industry publications, as well as chairing events and speaking at industry conferences across the UK and wider world. Michael is also a novelist and podcaster, and an independent member of the AHDB Board for Horticulture.
