Louise is the Professional Development Leader for Numicon at Oxford University Press. Her love of teaching maths is infectious, she inspires many teachers, and sparks the minds of pupils whilst they’re learning. Campaign & Communications Manager: Rebecca is a registered Associate Nutritionist and part of the Veg Power team supporting on campaigns and communications. She started her career in healthcare PR but more recently completed an MSc in Human Nutrition. Rebecca enjoys combining both skillsets in this role and is always on a mission to increase her children’s vegetable repertoire.

Dr Megan Rossi (PhD, RD), aka The Gut Health Doctor (theguthealthdoctor.com) is a registered dietitian, nutritionist and research fellow at King’s College London with an award-winning PhD in gut health, and is considered one of the most influential gut health specialists internationally. Megan is the founder of The Gut Health Clinic, set up gut-loving food brand Bio&Me, and her first book Eat Yourself Healthy is a bestselling, easy-to-digest guide to gut health and beyond.

Food writer, cookery teacher and former UN FAO Special Ambassador for Pulses, Jenny (jennychandlerblog.com) hosts demonstrations and writes for Borough Market. Her latest book is Green Kids Cook.

Debbie is the Year 3 Class Teacher at Coop Academy Portland with 25 years teaching experience. She is a newly engaged mum, on the PTA and a Co-Co Rep.

Gordon Haveron is the Infant Principal Teacher at Tinto Primary School in South West Glasgow: “I love my job and especially trying to make a difference in the lives of our families and our learners.”

Pip is a Primary School Catering Manager and School Cook at Consett Junior School in County Durham. She’s passionate about educating children about vegetables including how they can be grown and prepared.

Rebecca joined The Food Foundation in January 2020, leading on the Peas Please initiative. Rebecca is a registered associate nutritionist with a background in science communication and public affairs and joins The Food Foundation from the Nutrition Society.

Claire is a Health Improvement Practitioner at Oxfordshire County Council. Bringing diverse experience from working across the voluntary, academic and local authority sectors. From starting as a Community Development and Health Worker to now providing Public health expertise to improve and protect health and reduce inequalities between individuals, groups and communities through co-ordinated system – wide action.

Project Director: Vanessa is an experienced digital marketer. She graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in Geography and is committed to contributing to the evolving cultural dialogue around sustainability and waste. She obtained a basic certificate in Permaculture Design in 2021 and aspires to live by the Permaculture principal of “valuing and making use of all the resources that are available to us, so nothing goes to waste”.
